This spring and summer I've taken an interest in plants.
You can drive by in your car, and never really look at the beauty all around you. It has been there all the time, but you have been looking without really seeing.
Thank you that my eyes are still able to behold,
the beauty around me as it unfolds.
Thank you that my nose can still smell, the fragrance of flowers as on the air it dwells.
Thank you that my ears can still hear, the chirping of birds far and near.
Thank you that my hands can still feel, the softness of my dogs coat as on my knees I kneel.
Thank you that I can still lift my voice in praise, to tell of this beauty for the rest of my days.
